The wins continue for South African actress and new Hollywood darling Thuso Mbedu, as she snags a new role as the spokesperson for international beauty brand L’Oreal Paris.
It was back to the American accent for the delectable actress, who recently snagged attention for the way she spoke in a clip. Back then, many wondered about her American accent and how South Africa had lost her. In a twist, she had also shared another clip in which she was at home with isiZulu as well.
It’s Thusio with the American accent again, here. In an ad for L’Oreal, she had been asked several probing questions which should give insights into her life and her choices, from her childhood dreams down to her favourite city to live in, and she answered them all.
The answers showed aspects of her that many of her fans may not have been conversant with previously while also showcasing the brand she now speaks for. You can check out the clip below.
Thuso Mbedu, famous for “The Underground Railway” and other flicks, is one of the few South African actresses who have broken into the American film industry, popularly known as Hollywood. Well, congratulations are in order for her on her new appointment.
