Uncle Vinny might be young, but the youngster already has a dedicated following and is pulling impressive crowds. This much became obvious, once again, when he celebrated his 19th birthday in Braamfontein, Johannesburg, on 24 April.
The birthday bash had peeps his age and older in attendance. Mzansi pretty much stood still for the kid who many joke is the youngest “uncle” in the country.
The birthday bash was packed with well wishers keen to celebrate a music and hustling hero. Young though he might be, many peeps look up to him in that he appears to know how to make a wuick and legit buck in the streets and has got some good dance moves.
The party was so packed and loud that police had to intervene and disperse part of the crowd. Online, many fans, including DJ Tira, hailed uncle Vinny.
By the way, Uncle Vinny has so ingrained himself in the consciousness of many that when Cassper Nyovest tweeted of his plans to hold another concert at the Dome, many responded in the comments that he should have Uncle Vinny on the lineup.
