The amapiano fever is catching on, and Nigeria’s Wizkid appears to be among those who are catching the fever. Apparently the celebrated musicians is about to release an amapiano tune.
Just recently, he shared a clip of him rocking amapiano with Uncle Vinny’s dance. The clip has been viewed over 381k times. In the caption to the clip is the phrase “7 days,” which might indicate he’s seven days to releasing an amapiano track.
Wizkid is no stranger to the world of amapiano and its notable figures. He’s preciously been caught in the studio with DJ Maphorisa and other genre champs. So far, though, no official single has been release from that studio session.
Wizkid is more of a pop icon, so it remains to be seen how well he would do with his adventure into the amapiano orbit. Given his popularity, not surprisingly, fans have shown great interest in what he might make of amapiano.
