The dramatic revelations continue at the Senzo Meyiwa murder trial as the late footballer’s friend revealed that Kelly Khumalo continued to drive the late Senzo’s pricey BMX X6 after his death,
Senzo Meyiwa was married to someone else but was also dating Kelly Khumalo at the time he was killed in Kelly Khumalo’s family home in Vosloorus. The “Empini” was there at the time the goalie was killed, and so was her sister Zandie Khumalo, their mother, and Senzo’s childhood friend, Tumelo Madlala, who testified about Kelly continued to drive the footballer’s car after his death.
The revelation was as shocking as could be imagined and saw Kelly Khumalo’s name trending for all the wrong reasons again as South Africans debate why she should continue to use the late Bafana Bafana goalie’s car after his death.
It was further revealed that Senzo’s mother was angered gy Kelly Khumalo using the car after her son’s death. Madlala recalled telling Senzo’s mother that the police told Kelly Khumalo that she should not use the car but she insisted on using it, noting that the car belongs to the father of her child.
By the way, it was allegedly revealed that Kelly Khumalo also refused to hand over Senzo’s ID at the time, leading to speculation about insurance.
