Who Killed Senzo Meyiwa? New Evidence Shows Communication Between 2 Accused On Day Of Killing

The revelations continue in the battle to unmask the killers of the South African footballer Senzo Meyiwa almost a decade ago.

Five men are currently standing trial for the murder of the goalie, with new evidence suggesting there was communication between two of the accused on the day Senzo Meyiwa died.

The former Bafana Bafana goalie was shot dead in 2014 in the home of his then-girlfriend Kelly Khumalo. She was reportedly in the house alongside her sister Zandie, their mother Ntombi, Longwe Twala, and two of Senzo Meyiwa’s friends.

For some reason, everyone at the scene insists on their innocence and cannot point to who exactly carried out the killing that was initially claimed to be a robbery gone wrong.

On Tuesday, May 21, the evidence presented before the high court in Pretoria points to there having been communication between the accused Mthobisi Prince Mncube and Fisokuhle Ntuli on the day Senzo Meyiwa was killed.

Exactly what was communicated between the two is unclear but the communication was suspicious, especially as it happened on the day that the footballer was gunned down.

Whether the recent evidence of communication between two of the suspects will lead to a breakthrough in the case and eventual conviction is unclear. But South Africans are watching.
