Nadia Nakai reveals why she didn’t attend the Metro FM Music Awards to support her late boyfriend, AKA.
Mzansi rapper Nadia Nakai has opened up about not attending the Metro FM Music Awards with her late boyfriend AKA’s family to support him. Nadia has mourned AKA since he was murdered on February 10.
The “Naked” rapper only recently started going out more and trying to live her life again. On Saturday, her late boyfriend, AKA was the most talked-about person at the Metro FM Music Awards. He was nominated for six awards and ended up winning four. His daughter, Kairo, and his parents, Tony and Lynn Forbes, were present to accept the awards on his behalf.
Taking to Twitter, a fan asked Nadia why she didn’t show up with the Supa Mega’s family to support him, and she replied, “They did ask me to come, but I thought this moment should be just between them and the Megacy. I’m there in spirit tho. will be watching!”
