Will AKA vs Cassper Nyovest Boxing Match Still Hold?

In March this year, “Fela In Versace” rapper AKA tweeted that he and his rival Cassper Nyovest would be engaging in a boxing march in September. Cassper confirmed this much in an interview with DJ Speedsta.

The fight was said to have been at the instance of EFC & SuperSport. This was before coronavirus struck the Rainbow Nation and literally changed the course of events in South Africa and around the world.

Right now, it is a subject of speculation if the march between the two artistes will still hold. For one, South Africa has yet to overcome the coronavirus pandemic, and the fear of infection is still high among the populace.

Although sports minister Nathi Mthethwa recently said both contact and non-contact sports can resume under struck supervision, Andile Sidinile is of the view boxing shouldn’t resume this year.Boxing is a contact sport, and the chances of infection are pretty high.

If boxing should be suspended this year, then AKA and Cassper Nyovest might not meet in the ring in September.
