Wizkid says he left Banky W’s EME without a penny

Wizkid reveals he left Banky W‘s EME without a penny.

The internet got its biggest shocker when Nigerian pop star, Wizkid made a startling revelation. While preparing to perform his show at the O2 Arena, the singer appeared in an interview on Capital Xtra where he revealed he left his mentor, Banky W‘s record label, EME without a penny to his name.

According to him, he felt he had gotten to a stage where he had to move on from there. He said,

“I literally had to leave there with zero naira and I was Wizkid like… I had to leave because I’m just like man, I can’t keep doing this. It was a great time in my life because I’m thankful to God and Banky W for everything he’s done for me, but you know at some point, you’ll definitely get to a stage where you want to move forward.”
