Yanga Chief Rails At NOTA Over “Conspiracy Theories” On AKA’s Murder

It appears like everyone has an opinion about AKA and the circumstances surrounding his death. There has been a haemorrhage of opinions following the news of the rapper’s passing, the most recent being Yanga lambasting NOTA for his thoughts on how AKA died.

In  a clip shared on his social media channels, NOTA claimed that those around AKA have questions to answer regarding the rapper’s brutal murder on the streets of Durban where he was to have performed later that night.

In a series of posts online, he had accused NOTA of being a hater pushing an insidious narrative about AKA’s death. He recalled NOTA not being AKA’s friend or having any relationship with him when he was alive, only for the controversial music executive to speak as if he really cared after AKA’s death.

According to Yanga Chief, anyone spreading conspiracy theories is essentially defeating the ends of justice and indirectly aiding those who had killed AKA. While some tweeps agreed with him, others thought NOTA made more sense.

AKA was gunned down on the streets of Durban just outside Wish restaurant while out with friends on February 10. The news of his death reverberated across South Africa. Mzansi has not been the same since.
