Yanos Queen: Lady Du Covers Kade Culture Magazine

When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen. These were the words of South African singer Lady Du, celebrating her cover appearance in KADE magazine.

It’s been a long run for the amapiano ace, so one can’t begrudge her delight in having been recognised for her contributions to yanos music in South Africa.

She shared the magazine cover on her Instagram page, noting it was all done while she was in Manchester for an amapiano festival earlier this year.

Her comment section was thronged with celebs and fans alike, all wishing her the best and congratulating her on the milestone.

The magazine also shared the work it did with the songstress, noting it was a pleasure working with Lady Du for the first-ever digital spotlight series. The editors thanked the songstress, whom they called the queen of yanos, for the wisdom she shared during the interview. You can check it out below.

With her KADE appearance, Lady Du joins a select league of South African entertainers who have been featured in notable magazines around the world. Others include Black Coffee and DJ Shimza. Congratulations are in order for the singer, De facto queen of yanos.
