You can watch Beyoncé’s forthcoming Renaissance film in SA when it finally drops.
Multiple Grammy-winning American singer Beyoncé Knowles returned with her seventh studio album in 2022, and it erupted in a dance frenzy all over the world. The album, “Renaissance,” focused on House and dance music and was well received by fans.
However, no music video or visual film was released to promote it. Following the conclusion of her tour, Bey announced the coming release of the Renaissance Tour Film in December. Ster Kinekor confirmed the date of its release as December 1.
It marks her first big blockbuster release since 2019’s Homecoming dropped on Netflix. Just as Homecoming captured her performance at the Coachella Festival in 2018, Renaissance is a concert film featuring the just concluded tour.
“The film by Beyonce accentuates the journey of the Renaissance World Tour from its inception to the opening in Stockholm, Sweden, to the finale in Kansas City, Missouri. It is about Beyonce’s intention, hard work, involvement in every aspect of the production, her creative mind, and her purpose to create her legacy and master her craft. Received with extraordinary acclaim, Beyonce’s Renaissance World Tour created a sanctuary for Freedom and shared joy for more than 2.7 million fans,” according to an excerpt from her website.
South Africa can watch the film on December 1 when it drops globally.
