The police are your friend. That’s something we often hear. But, of course, not everyone would accept that verdict. One such person who appears unimpressed with the police — the South African Police Service (SAPS) specifically — is the rapper YoungstaCPT.
The songster is angry with the spate of crime in South Africa and has just spoken out about it, faulting the SAPS and the Democratic Alliance (which apparently rules the area) for the state of the city.
His latest outburst followed the killing of a man in Wynberg. In a post on his official X account, he’d shared a newspaper clipping of the crime incident while calling out the SAPS and the DA. YOU Can check out his post below.

In his anger over the spate of crime in the city, he has the support of his fellow residents, as well as other South Africans spread across the Rainbow Nation.
Cape Town is one of several South African cities that has been plagued with crime, with the police authorities seeming helpless.
Well, with his current advocacy to get the police and the DA to wake up to the reality of crime in South Africa, it will be interesting to see if that will provoke change soon.
