SA Hip Hop star YoungstaCpt has praised AKA’s loyal Megacy fanbase for their continuous support for the late rapper and his music.
There is no doubt that the late emcee, AKA, had one of the biggest fanbases in the country. They have continued to support his music and his legacy even after his death. It was recently announced that AKA and YoungstaCPT’s “Main Ou’s” collaboration had reached 1 Million Spotify streams.
The post read, “1 Million Streams for Main Ou’s on Spotify 🎊🎊🎊another Milestone💪 for Mega’s catalog #LongLiveSupaMega.” A grateful YoungstaCpt reacted to the news, praising the Megacy for supporting the “Lemons (Lemonade)” star. He also stated that he wished he had a loyal fanbase like AKA did.
The Cape Town star wrote, “Yoh, wish I had fans like the Megacy! SALUTAS for keeping the flame fired and the flag flying.” Youngsta has received massive acclaim for his lyricism and music. He has also won accolades for doing laudable work.
AKA, on the other hand, passed on in February after being shot in Durban. His album “Mass Country,” which he had prepared to release, still dropped and was well-received by fans. “Main Ou’s” was released in October 2019, and was well-received by fans.
