SA Hip Hop star YoungstaCpt has revealed his impact in his hometown of Cape Town.
We cannot list some of the most iconic rappers in Mzansi and not mention YoungstaCpt. The famous emcee has made moves on the scene, and shaken several belief systems, and changed norms through his music.
Of course, Hip Hop fans in Cape Town know all his work. However, a fan ‘dared’ question his impact and got a direct reply from the king. Slikour had posted about Youngsta’s album “3T” turning 4 when a tweep asked if YoungstaCpt had made an impact in Cape Town.
Responding to the tweet, the “Main Ou’s” rapper revealed that he started the trend of adding CPT to his rap nickname. In another tweet, he celebrated his 3T album and talked about songs that shaped his childhood. He revealed that he has had to educate people of South Africa about coloured people through his music.
