Mzansi singer Vusi Nova believes his best friend, Somizi Mhlongo, is still in love with his ex-husband, Mohale Motaung.
TV star and chef Somizi Mhlongo and his estranged husband, Mohale Motaung, were the it-couple while they were together. Their separation shocked Mzansi, and it has been from one dramatic shocker to another.
In a recent episode of Somizi’s reality show, aired on June 1st, his best friend, Vusi Nova, teased him about still being in love with Mohale. He revealed that he got his first call from Motaung since Sunday World leaked the infamous audio clips and allegations of abuse.
He said, “It is exactly 13 minutes past 12, 2022 January the one. I’m on Snap(chat), I’m taking a video then I see husband. I’m like what the f******* f***,” He revealed that his friend, Ndo blocked Mohale from his WhatsApp. He said,
“So Ndo blocked him on WhatsApp. A video call of all things. The caller ID said ‘husband’. I said never, not today. But anyway they shouted at me for still having him saved as husband. It doesn’t matter to me, because I don’t go looking for his number. I have never spoken to this person since day one of everything,”
Vusi revealed that he never liked Mohale but only tolerated him because Somizi loved him. He believes Somizi lost himself in the marriage. “Because for me I felt at some point, you kind of lost yourself within the relationship. You became someone that I didn’t understand. Since you met this boy, somewhere half way-through you met this boy, you change, Somizi,” he said.
He continued, “I can’t even tell Somizi be strong because he is strong, one of the strongest people I know. I know he is going to continued doing great things and I am always going to be right behind you, always,”
