YouTube announces the lineup for its “Stay Home With Me” on Easter Weekend.
Easter is just a day away and it will officially be the first Easter which will not be celebrated in churches all over the world. This is due to the mandatory lockdown stipulations in various parts of the world due to the COVID-19 spread.
Luckily for us here in Africa, YouTube has huge plans to help everyone celebrate Easter in the best possible way. They just announced the lineup of singers to minister on Easter Weekend at their “Stay Home #WithMe” festival.
The lineup includes SA Gospel artists Benjamin Dube, and Mthunzi Namba, and Nigerian Gospel singers, Nosa and Glowreeyah Braimah. Now, families can still have a taste of the usual Easter Sunday worship. Also, music lovers can catch Hip-Hop and Pop performances by Nasty C and Jethro Tait.
Speaking about it, Content Partnership Manager for YouTube Africa, Addy Awofisayo said,
“Stay Home #WithMe is a way of encouraging self isolation at this time while bringing everyone together around music, artists and content creators they love,”
