South African rapper AKA might be dead and long buried, but his legacy lives and he is still very much alive in the hearts of many across South Africa and even beyond. This reality manifests every other day.
The latest example of this reality comes from none other than the YouTuber Penuel, who recently named his top tracks from the oeuvre of the late rapper AKA.
Before his tragic passing on February 10 last year, AKA had released quite a trove of music, most of which is being enjoyed today. Of course, out of all the stuff he released, some numbers resonate with some people more than others.
In Penuel’s case, the songs that resonated with him the most from AKA’s collection so far include “Congratulate,” “N-Word,” “Sim Dope,” “Composure,” and “Lemons (Lemonade),” which AKA released in collaboration with Nasty C. You can check out the complete list below.
