This isn’t the best of times for singe Zahara, as she has had to cancel her show, citing ill health.
The “Loliwe” hitmaker is facing great financial challenges and a public fight with DJ Sbu and TK Nciza over the royalties from her first project released through the duo’s record label.
And with the bank planning to auction off her house to recover the debt she owes, the stress appeared to have mounted for the songstress. So what’s the way out? Some fans had suggested making contributions to help her.
Others encouraged her to go on tour to raise money, stating that they would be to listen to her, even if she would have to sing only old songs.
The tour option appeared to have made more sense to the songstress. So a couple of performances were scheduled. She was to have performed at the Lounge at Bathurst on June 4, Lunga’s Lifestyle on June 5 and a session with her fans at the Speak Easy Jazz Lounge.
However, none of that took place. In a post on her verified Facebook, Zahara apologized to her fans and promoters for the no-show, stating she was down and on bed rest on her doctor’s recommendation. You can check out the post below.
