Zahara Opens Up On Unpaid Royalties By TS Records And Awards Cash Prices

South African singer and songwriter Zahara was the latest guest on Podcast and Chill With MacG and detailed little-known aspects of her record label deal with TS Records, which is partly owned by DJ Sbu, her awards, and more.

Previously, DJ Sbu had claimed that Zahara’s brothers were the ones taking her royalties, but she denounced his words as brazen lies, challenging him open to be truth and pay her royalties.

In her appearance on Podcast and Chill With MacG,  which recently moved to Channel, she went into the TS Records debacle in some detail, insisting that the label is owing her millions. She also spoke of her awards and prizes.

By the way, TS Records, which is co-owned by DJ Sbu and Thembinkosi Nciza, is now defunct. Zahara herself recently clinched a new deal with Warner Music. Following the deal, she had allegedly fired her manager and drove him out of her apartment.

The songstress recently released “Nqaba Yam,” a feel-good album that’s currently on the crosshairs pf music lovers in South Africa. You can check out clips of the interview with MacG below and join the conversation by dropping your thoughts in the comment section. Way to go!
