Grammy-winning DJ Zakes Bantwini was excited about his event, the Abantu Festival, before it kicked off in the massive DHL stadium in Cape Town.
We have watched the dreams of some of the country’s biggest stars unfold before our eyes. Zakes Bantwini is one of them, and he has continued to exceed expectations with his moves. The famous hitmaker co-founder of the Abantu Festival oversaw the event at Cape Town’s huge DHL stadium on Saturday, 28 October.
Before the festival started, Zakes shared a video from the stadium with his song Shaka Madida, speaking about his dreams coming true and urging festival goers to arrive early because it wasn’t meant to be a night event.

His wife, Nandi Madida, also voiced support for the DJ in the comments section. She replied, “My people ❤️. Abantu is going to be amazing! Hope the Springboks win as we celebrate some of the best in SA music.”
The massive stadium boasts a capacity of 55 thousand. His fans were on hand to wish him well. They took to the comments and wished him a great show.
