There is no doubt that Mzansi Disc Jockey and producer, Zakes Bantwini had one of the best years of his career this year. Months back, Bantwini basically resurrected and returned to the top when he debuted the song “Osama” during a Live performance.
Even without being released, the song trended on social media, and everyone could not stop talking about it. Following its release, it quickly hit the top of the radio charts and stayed there for 10 consecutive weeks, recording a major milestone.
Following a recent list showing the biggest songs on South African Radio this year, Bantwini’s hit song with Kasango has emerged the biggest South African song this year. It is only behind the RnB hit, “Leave The Door Open” by Bruno Mars & Anderson .Paak a.k.a Silk Sonic. Congrats to him.
