Zakwe celebrates as “Roots” featuring Stogie T and Jay Claude get Gold certification by RISA.
Imagine getting something you’ve always wanted. A few months back, Mzansi rapper shared on social media that he would like one of his songs or projects to go Gold. Zakwe who is one of Mzansi’s most acclaimed local rappers had not gotten a Gold certification at the time. His luck changed when his album “Cebisa” finally attained a Gold status.
He also hinted on rapping more in English in other to reach a wider audience. Fast forward to now, his wishes have come true. Zakwe’s hit song “Roots” featuring Stogie T and Jay Claude has just been certified Gold by RISA. The very excited rapper took to social media to celebrate the new milestone.
He has also announced a joint album with Duncan. According to him, the album is scheduled to drop sometime in November 2020. No specific date has been announced for the release. A big congrats to him again.
