Zandie Khumalo Dismisses Alleged R22M Senzo Meyiwa-Netflix Documentay Deal

Rumours are currently flying all over South Africa that Zandia Khumalo and her sister Kelly Khumalo have secured a R22 million documentary deal with Netflix about the Senzo Meyiwa murder case.

The two sisters were on the ground – in the same apartment with Senzo – when he was killed in 2014. It was the Khumalo’s family home in Vosloorus, and their mother, as well as a couple of other associates, was present.

But who killed Srnzo? This is one question that has been asked since the Bafana Bafana goalie’s brutal murder. But there appears to be no answer to the question yet. At the outset, the sisters were suspected to be privy to the goalie’s killing. However, there was no evidence to support the claim.

Also, from the outset, both had insisted on their innocence. They maintain the same claim even as the case continues. With the current news making the round that Zandie Khumalo and her sister Kelly had signed a multimillion-rand Netflix film deal, it was inevitable that Zandie should address it.

She was mordant in her dismissal of the claims, pointing out how it is interesting that she should find out about herself things she didn’t know about herself. The point is, no such deal has taken place.
