Zimbabwean Man Wanted For Stealing Nearly R900 000 from Mugg & Bean, Kruger Park

Zimbabwean man Amos Tineyi Kampinya is wanted by the Hawks for stealing over R900000 from Mugg & Bean, Kruger Park.

A search has been launched by the Directorate for Priority Crime Investigation, also known as the Hawks, to catch a Zimbabwean man in connection with a fraud and theft case in Mpumalanga. He is believed to have committed the crime at Mugg & Bean, Kruger Park, in July 2022 when he was working as a manager.

Hawks provincial spokesperson, Captain Dineo Lucy Sekgotodi, said,

“Hawks in Mpumalanga requires assistance from the community to locate the whereabouts of the suspect appearing in the attached photographs, known as Amos Tineyi Kampinya, a Zimbabwean citizen,” said Sekgotodi.

“It is further alleged that Kampyinya stole company funds to the amount of R897,229 and disappeared. He was sought at his previous known address, at Karino Flats near Mbombela and he was not found,” said Sekgotodi.

The provincial head of the Hawks in Mpumalanga, Major General Nicholas Gerber, has called for Kampinya to surrender himself to the police. He also appealed to community members to report any information regarding the man’s whereabouts to the police. They can do this by contacting the investigating officer, Captain Mandla Mphephethe, on 071 481 3295. The public is urged to do so too.
