South African musician and presenter Bonginkosi Dlamini, who is long famous by the Stage name Zola 7, was involved in an accident recently but survived.
Sunday World reported that the celebrated kwaito artist suffered from epileptic seizures and rammed into a shop in Meadowsland, Soweto. Some sources claim, however, that he was drinking and driving.
Zola had reportedly suffered injuries to the neck and back after his vehicle crashed into the shop, destroying concrete tables and chairs.
Tsholofelo Mpanzi, who owned the shop, said she heard a loud band and had to abandon the TV she was watching to find out what was the cause. Her mother joined her there, where they found Zola 7 in his crashed Ford Fiesta.
Tsholofelo Mpanzi claims that when she and her mother walked to the driver’s side of the vehicle, they were surprised to see it was Zola 7. She said when they asked him what the problem was, he threw away a bottle and said he had epileptic fits and lost control of the vehicle.
Also, she said Zola 7 promised to repair the damage but id yet to do so. It is unclear if Zola 7 has repaired the damage at the time of writing this story. Stay tuned.
