Kwaito veteran Zola 7 is in serious financial need and could do with financial aid to take care of his medical bills.
This new revelation might surprise some fans of the songster out there, especially so as some of Zola 7’s musician friends had visited him recently and were told that he was hale and hearty.
However, according to a report by City Press, the musician’s management has launched a crowdfunding initiative to take care of his medical bills. This automatically reverses earlier claims that the songster was okay and not in need.
Zola 7, who’s much respected for his contributions to South African music, has admitted to suffering from chronic epilepsy and now takes drugs at least twice daily just to get by.
Even during the recording of his song with Family Tree boss Cassper Nyovest last year, according to Zola 7, he was on drugs. There had to be several cuts before they eventually got something worth using
Also, according to Zola 7, who’d once crashed his car while driving, the epilepsy made him lose control of the car, leading to the accident. Now, he’s stopped driving.
