Zolisa Xaluva Says His In Negations For Smoke & Mirrors S2 But Producers Say He’s Out

Zolisa Xaluva claims he is currently in negotiations for e.tv’s Smoke & Mirrors, but the show’s producers say he’s out.

Everyone is confused. Zolisa Xaluva claims reports that he was fired from e.tv’s Smoke & Mirrors are false. According to News24, he said he currently has “no contractual obligations” as negotiations are ongoing for the show’s second season.

Unfortunately, the story isn’t the same from the producers. eMedia says he’s out and has wished him well in future endeavours.

e.tv’s Marketing and Communications Specialist, Thapelo Ramatsui said,

“At the onset of the new season of Smoke & Mirrors, the producers of the Final Chapter Productions have come to a resolution to amicably part ways with Zolisa Xaluva. Zolisa has been an asset to the show in his role as Caesar Ngonyama, and we wish him nothing but the best in his future endeavours.

Zolisa had initially told SowetanLIVE that he was not fired from the show. He said,

“Negotiations are still ongoing for season two between the parties involved. The contract for season one has ended, so the word ‘fired’ is incorrect. I’m also aware of the news that my character is going to be recast. I enjoy playing the role of Caesar. I love his bravery and fearlessness…”
