Samuel Adu Frimpong popularly known by his stage name Medikal is a prolific singer, songwriter and performer in Ghana. His genre of music is Hip-hop and more into the rap flow which he performs both in his native language and English. Medikal has performed on world stage with top African and international artistes. He is one of the best Hip-hop artistes in Ghana.

Medikal was born in Sowutuom, a town in the suburb or Accra in Ghana. Growing up around Doctors and surgeons he grew up rapping about them. He started the rap game from his High school and became really popular for his lyrical bars and always referred to his style of music as sick.

Medikal being a lover boy over the year has dated popular celebrities in Ghana. He once dated Deborah Vanessa who is an actress and model and later parted ways this was after he had earlier dated sister Debbie. He is not publicly romantically paired with anyone at the moment.

Medikal got his major breakthrough in 2013 when he released his debut album titled “Medikation”. The songs on this album became an all time music lovers favorite and thus the name medical became a household name. Although the rap career started for him in High school he has gone on to release more hit song and is doing well in his genre.

Medikal since his debut has released hit songs like Omo Ada, Ayeeko, Kayayo, Drip, Father featuring Nigerian top artiste, Davido just to mention a few. He has also released major albums that have sold out since the time of his debut, albums Medikation , Disturbation and The Plug EP. This is one artiste that has carved a niche for himself in the entertainment industry.

Medical since debuting has won himself various awards both in Ghana and Internationally, among this is the Ghana music awards. He has also gotten various nominations for his work. Medikal has gotten himself endorsement deals from top brands both in Ghana and Internationally. He has also collaborated with top artistes around the World.

Medikal’s Net worth has not been officially calculated. But from evidence of payments for show performances, album sales, endorsement deals, Properties and investments owned by him it is certain that the artiste has done well for himself financially and is one of the top artistes in Ghana to reckon with.
