South African songstress Kelly Khumalo finally drops the intensely anticipated “The Voice Of Africa (TVOA) ” album. Around Mzansi, the dominant emotion right now is relief.
It has been a long wait for this body of work. Fortunately, it wasn’t a boring wait as the songstress teased a couple of songs from the project, lyrical winners you wouldn’t mind checking out right away. There was “Empini” and “Esphambanweni” (Feat. Hlengiwe Mhlaba), among others.
The body of work spots 8 tracks in all and plays for exactly 42 minutes. The project isn’t exactly rich in features but this cannot be counted as a loss. Kelly Kumalo delivered like a champ, and it’s hard not to be chuffed with her performance
