From the look of things, South African actress Brenda Ngxoli isn’t one to overlook what she considers an obvious lie by a man who reportedly used a racial slur to address her years ago.
She and David James were on the set of the dame flick that treated a life during the apartheid era. By her own account, he called her a “kaffir” on the set of the flick – a racial slur.
It may have been years since he made such a remark, but she hadn’t forgotten. recently, she came out in the open, exposing James for what he said back then. Her revelation caused quite a buzz across South Africa
James quickly issued a statement in which he apologised for his action, noting he was sorry for the hurt he might have caused her back then. He apparently also referenced a meeting where the subject was treated.
Reacting to that statement, she dismissed most of what he wrote as lies, noting in part: “I can say that no meeting happened; this is a lie. I never received any minutes following the meeting or responded to any minutes.” With such a vehement denial. all eyes are back on James to see his response.
