The song talks of someone who comes in all humility to beg for forgiveness from God. “Seng’yabala Nkosi” is a Xhosa phrase which translates to “I’m So Sorry Lord” in English.
Lungelo Hlongwane had first teased an acoustic version of the song in 2019 and it got a lot of his music fans saying the song was going to go far as it has verses that were absolutely spirit lifting. The song is coming after the release of his spiritual single tagged “Sekusele” from his “Isimo Sami” album released in 2018. In uncertain times like this, what better way to go, than to get close to one’s maker asking for forgiveness.
