South African musician Mthunzi’s “Elentulo” has got a new buzz although it is not exactly a new song. What’s really “new” is the music video – and no, it wasn’t released yesterday.
Mthunzi’s “Elentulo” song was actually released last year (2020) as part of the El World Music star’s “Selimathunzi” project. A year may have passed since the release of the song, but as should be apparent, “Elentulo” has managed to retain its appeal.
Mthunzi is a fine voice with a gift for storytelling. That much should be obvious from this song, as well as the accompanying music video. Both are winners in our estimation, and we have no qualms asking y’all to check them out.
Mthunzi might be a young voice in South African music, but he has sown again and again that he is not a voice to be written off. You may want to listen to him right here to get an idea about his singing gift.
