This Njelic is no angel, but he sure knows how to entertain with his songs. And speaking of songs, there’s a charming new number from his orbit as we speak: “Down The Drain.” This number has Thabza Tee as the other lead artist.
We don’t have records of the two being serial collaborators. However, from what they have just put together, it’s clear there are pretty good as a team. In that case, of course, you can count on us to share what else they might release as a team.
As a title, “Down The Drain” has a note of resignation to it. Best assured, though, that the number wouldn’t overpower you with the fire of resignation. On the contrary, it brings you so many didactic moments that you’d be only too happy to listen to it a second time,
Njelic, who’s worked with some of South Africa’s critical voices, might be taken as a sterling example of what it is like to give up on your dreams. From being a dream in the townships with nothing to his name, the songster has fought his way into the realm of fame. Today his name rings in South Africa’s piano and house circles.
