“ULazi” is the first single we’ve heard from the quartet this month – a first, all right, but one worth entertaining. The song also happens to be 9umba’s debut on here.
However, unlike 9umba, the other lead artiste, Mr JazziQ, is an oldie on our horizon, with many songs to his name. the songster was part of the now defunct JazziDisciples duo. The two members may have split, but each of them is doing well solo.
Mr JazziQ has been especially productive, dropping solo projects, as well as linking up with other musos for equally charming releases. Just recently, he linked up with Busta 929 for an extended play entitled “Maba Jabul’Abantu.”
Zuma and Mpura have worked with Mr JazziQ previously, so it isn’t surprising they should find features spots on his latest release. The one had worked with Mr JazziQ on “Dakiwe” (alongside Lady Du) and the other had worked with him on “Kuda” (alongside Reece Madlisa).
