Serial collaborators MDU a.k.a TRP and Bongza link up for a new compilation titled “Boomerang” EP, which you can stream here on UbeToo. It isn’t heir first joint project, nor do we expect it to be their last.
Before now, both were simply solo artiste pushing their creative flowers into the hands of music lovers in Mzansi. The nation had woken up one day to see them release a joint project. They have not looked back since.
Their latest collaborative project, “Boomerang,” house three amapiano tunes, one of them eponymous. While the two friends were content to spit their bars alone in two tracks (track two “Boomerang” and track three “Settlement”), they tapped the vocal resources of their compatriot Daliwonga for the first track, “Take It Easy.”
Of course they didn’t take it easy with that track. Instead they fiercely snatched the soul of the listener with the track.
They may have chosen amapiano as their genre of expression, but it is obvious the appeal of this body of work transcends amapiano. You may want to embrace the compilation, then, and have a good time in the troika’s creative orbit. You may rest assured it wouldn’t boomerang on you. Lol.
