DJ Kaymo has “Tried & Tested” a new set of songs and thought they would be great for the listening public. So he has released them as an extended play. Welcome to the world of “Tried & Tested” EP.
This is no random drop, as the songster her informed fans of the project weeks earlier by sharing and pinning the cover art on his Instagram channel. The wait is finally over and fans can now luxuriate in the sonic world he has created.
What you have here is actually a lean compilation, comprising just five tracks. But then anyone conversant with the songster wouldn’t be surprised by the length. The muso appears to delight in keeping things short. But that’s by the way.
The compilation begins with a number dubbed “Don’t Relate,” taking a “Wrong Turn” and then embracing “Ngithi Lo” and “Top 7even,” and then ending on a note of “Kopa Lerato.”
The compilation features several of his associates, including Thato Saul, Espiquet, Profound, AKA, Toss, Gobi Beast, Costa Titch Alfa Kat, MajorSteeze, and others.
“Tried & Tested” is actually a pleasure to listen to. So deciding to listen to it should count for something if you please. Let the music begin.
