Drake Premieres New Album, “Honestly, Nevermind” – Listen

The goal wasn’t exactly to keep people awake, but the Canadian rapper ended up keeping many around the world awake when he announced his album “Honestly Never Mind” would be out by midnight. The album is out now, and it’s something to be loved, really.

“Honestly, Nevermind” is the Canadian rapper’s seventh studio album and the immediate follow-up to his record-breaking “certified Lover Boy” project.

The latest compilation bears 14 tracks in all and features just one guest: 21 Savage. This is especially interesting in that in the build-up to the release of the album, the Canadian had indicated he was working on something with Lil Baby.

Could it be that the Lil Baby collaboration didn’t make the cut, or that it will be released separately as a single or part of another project? Well, nothing is clear at the moment. At any rate, the interest in “Honestly, Nevermind” is pretty strong and for a good reason, too.

Drake remained his old charming self, spitting his bars like it’s the best thing worth doing in the world. It’s an album to have.

The project was executively produced by Drake, Noah 40 Shebib, Oliver El-Khatib, Noel Cadastre, and the South African disc jockey Black Coffee.
