Setswana music sensations, Encore band teams up with Amazulu songbird Amanda for a new track titled Mina Nawe. Now this song is one of the rare compilations that the trio has worked on lately. The ensembles of the three male singers combined with Amanda’s soft voice makes you fall in love with Setswana vibes.
It’s been quite a while since the trio worked on something major. However, back in 2018, the group did release a major hit by the name O Mpha Lerato. Apart from music, the trio happens to share a lot in common especially now that they began their careers together.
All three men met while studying music at the SA State Theatre in Pretoria. That was back in 2009 after which they decided to form the South African Encore Music Group. So far, the band has worked on a number of EPs which include Machette Vol 1, Tit for Tat, Segarona among others.
Their most successful album up until now must be Segarona which enlists huge tracks such as Wena, S’thandwa, and Mathata ga a yo. In mid-June 2020, Encore launched its 2020 album by the name Autobahn. So far the album has 5 tracks. With the release of Mina Nawe coinciding with their album launch, you can expect that this new collaboration will earn their new album a lot of attention.
