Following up from his home brewed dance tune, “Xiluva” which was highlighted as one of the ‘Top 5 Amapiano/ Afro Tunes of the week’ earlier on in the year by TikTok music critic, ‘Urban Musician,’ Jst Sako puts on his dancing shoes for this one as he hits back with yet another electrifying song titled “Cha Cha.”
Written, composed and produced by the main man himself, Cha Cha is a song that explores a setting in which a man courts a lady who grabs his attention, he encourages her to move (Cha Cha) to the bass line, which clearly drives him insane.
Known for being experimental with his soundscape, this offering showcases just that as it borrows from different elements of several popular genres such as Afro-House, R&B, and Amapiano, creating anAfrocentric masterpiece. The muso expresses himself in Nigerian Pidgin, showcasing his versatility and diversity when it comes to language use as an African man that’s been exposed to different cultures during his upbringing.
