Before the official release of the song, the pals had shared a cover art of it on Instagram, cluing fans in, partly, on what to expect. Fans who had expected a great jam had donated flame emojis in the comments.
The song is here now and, expectedly, fans are debating if the wait was actually worth it. While we wouldn’t want to be dragged into that debate, we can say that we love the jam. You might, too.
For two artists who don’t have a long collaborative history, Kammu Dee and Toss actually hit it off on this number, creating a memorable musical experience that is hard to miss.
“Iphoko Phoko” might ring amapiano, but it is not hard to see that anyone who loves good music and a good time will have no trouble embracing the number these pals have dropped.
