Kwesta vibes “Kubo” alongside pals Bassie, Focalistic and K.O. A winning number you have here.
“Kubo” is one of the songs in Kwesta’s “g.o.d GULUVA” album. That body of work was long expected. When it finally dropped, Fans across South Africa screamed in delight.
One of the delightful numbers in that project is the song in review. Kwesta manages to pick some fine voices with whom he apparently shares great musical synergy. The result is beautiful and something to lap up.
Focalistic, one of the artistes on the song, did hip hop music but ditched it for amapiano when many opposedhis winning the scudetto of hottest MC in South Africa last year.
The other guest K.O., who’s fondly called Mr Cash time, runs Skhanda World, a thriving artiste management agency. He’s one of the veterans in South African hip hop, a position he amplifies with a sterling delivery on “Kubo.”
Bassie? There you have another fine artiste one whose name is often sufficed SA.
