The Queen is dead! Long live the Queen! Well, there’s no better way to sum up the resurgence of the late South African singer Lebo Mathosa. She might be dead, but memories of her, her influence, and her legacy are still very much alive. This much should be apparent in “Forever” EP.
This compilation came to life via the remixing and remastering of some of her iconic drops, including “I Love Music”, “Brand New Day”, and “Au Dede”. What this means is that she still has a strong influence on some ASouth African musicians.
“Forever” EP is a commemorative project of exactly eight tracks featuring the likes of North The Jap, Karyendasoul, Sam Deep, Josiah De Disciple and BlaqRhythm. We are more than confident that the late singer who be pleased with this project released in her honour, wherever she might be right now. And if you’re her fan, you should love it too.
