Days ago, South Africa celebrated Nelson Mandela Day, a day referencing one of the country’s greatest civil right leaders who spent decades in prison, regained freedom, and ended up the first black president of South Africa, post-apartheid.
That’s Nelson Mandela, of course, a man whose life continues to inspire millions around the world. There were several events to celebrate that day, some by individuals, and others by the government.
We recall, for instance, that celebrated South African disc jockey and producer Shimza had also staged his One Man Show from Robben Island to celebrate the day.
