MDU aka TRP and Kabza De Small are the men of the moment thanks to the forces of their collaborative project, “Pretty Girls Love Amapiano,” from which our song in review, “51 Issa Lot,” is taken.
The said song features fellow South Africans Nkulee501 and Skroef 28.
Amapiano is the message here, and these muso sure are hell ware on fire with their verses. Bar after bar, you just find yourself nodding to their offerings and anticipating more.
Sadly the song stops after a few minutes. But then the memory of it lingers. We love it. You might, too.
MDU aka TRP and Kabza De Small are not exactly serial collaborators, but as should be clear presently, they pulled off a beautiful coup with their joint project, which has “51 Issa Lot,” as one of its winning tunes.
The guest artistes, Nkulee501 and Skroef 28, interestingly have numbers to their names. It’s doubtful they were picked for the numbers. But then they were great alongside the two lead singers.
While “51 Issa Lot” might be an amapiano tune, it will certainly have no trouble appealing to lovers of other genres as well. In fact, for lovers of good music, here’s another jam to make a place for on your playlist.
