The “Zulu Man With Some Power” Nasty C’s creative spirit is pretty much still on fire. This much should be obvious from the recent release of his “Steve Biko” visuals.
The music video glorifies the activist for whom it is name, the anti-apartheid campaigner who perished fighting the racist government in South Africa decades ago.
“Steve Biko” is one of the songs in Nasty C’s recently released “Zulu Man With Some Power” album. Also, it happens to be one of the favourite songs in the compilation – for good reason, perhaps. The song magically takes the listener to the past – its tears and terrors.
In the music video, one might be caught embracing history once again. The video, which plays for exactly two minutes and twenty-six second, was shot over an ash background, amplifying the song’s message.
The video popped on Nasty C’s YouTube channel just recently. It certainly will go a long way in preserving Steve Biko’s memory as well as magnifying the role he played in the eradication of apartheid in the Rainbow Nation.
