My new project, “MUD”, will be out at midnight, & where there’s smoke, there’s definitely fire. Those were Priddy Ugly’s words announcing his latest album. There’s nothing to fault in that statement because the project is actually worthy of the fire emoji.
The compilation is lean with just seven tracks. On the whole, though, it is potent enough to take any music lover into an orbit of enlightenment and energy. Among those the songster co-opted on the project are Bontle, Marcus Harvey, Lady Du and Maglera Doe Boy.
This project drops amid intense preparation for a boxing match with another celebrated rapper, Cassper Nyovest. The two would spar in the ring in what has been dubbed the Celeb City boxing match, which takes place on October 1.
