South African gospel collective Spirit Of Praise 8 erupts with a new number dubbed “Nne Ndi Shumela,” featuring Takie Ndou.
It’s a meeting of soulful voices, voices that easily melt the soul and convict the sinner while at the say time showing them the way to salvation. But, of course, the song in review has nothing to do with proselytising.
Spirit of Praise has been around for several years and earned a place among the top gospel collectives out there. In an era when bands disappear almost as soon as they appear, the group has managed to stick together, charming South Africa with one soulful release after the other.
“Nne Ndi Shumela” is a follow-up to several winning numbers. Before the group dropped the song, though, they gave a countdown, causing a fever of expectancy among fans. In retrospect, the wait was worth it.
Working with Takie Ndou must have been a great pleasure, as the group flowed pretty well with the gospel minister. The result is as beautiful as can be, and we have no qualms asking you all to check it out.
This song will edify the body of Christ and empower the Christian who readily opens his soul to it.
