Tems Premieres “If Orange Was A Place” Album, Appears On Apple Music’s “Up Next”

Nigerian songstress Tems presents a new body of work titled “If Orange Was A Place” album which you can stream here on UbeToo, your go-to place for all things South African music.

She had shared the artwork on her Instagram page, confessing her love for her fans and of course expecting the same for the project.

This 5-track compilation features just one guest artist. Brent Faiyaz was “Found” in track 2, which he co-wrote with Tems. That song, as well as others on the album, was mixed and mastered by Spax.

The tracks might be few but the songstress has got messages worth hearing by a generation starving for stories that actually meant something.

The release of the project is like a double win for the “Crazy Tings” singer, who’d earlier popped on Canadian rapper Drake’s “Certified Lover Boy” album. She had been picked as the artist for Apple Music’s Up Next segment for September, a milestone she celebrated on her Instagram page.

She isn’t the first Nigerian to be so honored, but the feature comes just at the right time for her, as it would boost interest in her If Orange Was A Place” album.
