The song is the first ever collaboration from David Scott of The Kiffness and Nathan Ro from Lonehill Estate. Apparently, the two composed the song at a songwriters camp, where Nathan sang a white boy rap he’d been sitting, and David had a beat that could match it. According to them, the song’s vocals were laid in David’s parents’ living room in Joburg.

Immediately after it was released, the collaboration made it to the top of the iTunes pop chart. A music video has also been shot for it.
