Tumza D’Kota and Abidoza go “E Ena Maan” in a new song featuring fellow South African “Leehleza.”
It’s a meeting of piano champions, and they lived up to their names spitting their bars. If you’re a fan of amapiano music but haven’t heard of the artistes on this song, then you seriously haven’t been paying attention.
Tumza D’Kota might be an ace of the decks but still drops bars that engage the soul. You only have to listen to his verse here to get an idea of his creative powers.
For his part, Abidoza is easily one of the key figures driving South Africa’s amapiano orbit. A producer, DJ and singer, he’s worked with who’s who in the industry, including Family Tree boss Cassper Nyovest.
Just recently, when a fissure had appeared in Cassper Nyovest’s relationship with Boohle, who had claimed that the Family Tree boss didn’t make tangible contributions to the amapiano hit “Siyathandana,” Abidoza had sued for peace by getting Boohle and Cass on the same number.
Well, “E Ena Maan” may not exactly be a peace offering, but it’s a jam to vibe with all the same. Leehleza is a fine complement to this beat. You gotta embrace it.
